following offices will be open to candidates at the Annual Meeting of
the Village District of Eidelweiss on Saturday, February 27th, 2010 at
the Madison School. Commissioner 3 year term Moderator 2 year term Treasurer 1 year term Clerk 1 year term Anyone wishing to file for office may file with the Clerk between 8am January 13th and 5pm January 22nd. Public Hearings on the budget will be held on Friday January 22nd and Friday January 29th in the Madison Town Hall at 7:30pm. The Bond Hearing will be Friday January 29th. The Annual Meeting will be held on Saturday February 27th in the Madison School. Voting will be from 8 - 10am. The deliberative session will begin at 10am. The Commissioners will hold a Bond Hearing on Wednesday February 10, 2010 at 9:00am in the District Office. Two Petitioned Bond Articles have been received. One is $127,000 for the purpose of water system upgrades and the other is $387,000 for the purpose of repair to the lower section of Oak Ridge Road from Oak Station to Eidelweiss Drive including replacement of water pipes. Recently, the bus shed at the mailbox site was filled with trash. Please take note of the following State Law. All persons renting property out must make provisions for the proper disposal of trash. PER RSA 163-B:3 IT IS UNLAWFUL TO DUMP, DEPOSIT, THROW OR LEAVE, OR TO CAUSE OR PERMIT THE DUMPING, DEPOSITING, PLACING, THROWING OR LEAVING OF LITTER ON ANY PUBLIC OR PRIVATE PROPERTY. Board of Commissioners Commissioners meetings are regularly held on Monday mornings at 9:00am in the VDOE Office. If there is a change , it will be announced on this page.
Notices of meetings or VDOE event notices will be posted on the bulletin board at the office, bulletin board near the mailboxes on Huttwil Dr. and on this page. Public Records may be viewed at the office by appointment Monday through Friday. |
