| The Board of Commissioners will meet on Thursday Sept 2 at 9am in the District Office. The Board of Commissioners will meet on Saturday Sept 4 at 7pm in the Lodge for the second open forum on water system funding. The Jungfrau to Reinach Forced Main Water Project has been scheduled to begin on Monday 9/13. There will be water service interruptions while the temporary line is placed. Interruptions could last up to 6 hours. Please plan accordingly. As summer projects get underway, please remember that a few phone calls before you begin your project could protect you. For any project along or near the edge of any body of water, NH DES requires permits to be obtained, including removal of any trees or the addition of any sand to a beach. For any project that will alter a driveway, the District requires a driveway permit. Please review the Driveway Ordinance under the Ordinance tab. You should also check with the Town of Madison Building Inspector for any other permits that may be needed. Taking the time prior to beginning your project, will protect you from the fines that may be levied should you not have the proper permits in place. Please take note of the following State Law. All persons renting property out must make provisions for the proper disposal of trash. PER RSA 163-B:3 IT IS UNLAWFUL TO DUMP, DEPOSIT, THROW OR LEAVE, OR TO CAUSE OR PERMIT THE DUMPING, DEPOSITING, PLACING, THROWING OR LEAVING OF LITTER ON ANY PUBLIC OR PRIVATE PROPERTY. Board of Commissioners Commissioners meetings are regularly held on Monday mornings at 9:00am in the VDOE Office. If there is a change , it will be announced on this page.
Notices of meetings or VDOE event notices will be posted on the bulletin board at the office, bulletin board near the mailboxes on Huttwil Dr. and on this page. Public Records may be viewed at the office by appointment Monday through Friday. |
