At this time all paved roads have been initially treated with salt and sand, the trucks are on there way to hit the gravel roads with sand.
Please use caution when if attempting to drive.
If you do not have to travel, you may want to wait until the weather warms later this afternoon
...Freezing Rain Advisory remains in effect until 7 PM EST this
evening...
* hazard types...freezing rain
* ice accumulations...around a tenth of an inch.
* Timing...freezing rain is already occurring. By this evening
temperatures will warm enough above freezing for plain rain.
* Impacts...roadways are icy and travel is extremely difficult.
Even when temperatures initially climb above freezing...very
cold surfaces may still lead to some icing.
* Winds...southeast 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.
* Temperatures...in the mid 30s.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Freezing Rain Advisory means that periods of freezing rain or
freezing drizzle will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving.
