Annual Meetings

The 2018 VDOE Annual Meeting will be held Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the Madison Elementary School gymnasium. Polls for voting of officers will be open from 5 pm to 7 pm. The deliberative session for voting on all other Warrant Articles will begin at 7 pm.
The following offices will be open to candidates:
Commissioner - 3 yr term
Moderator - 2 yr term
Anyone wishing to file for office may file with the Clerk between Wednesday, January 10 and 5 pm Friday, January 19, 2018.
Final date for submission of petitioned articles is Friday, January 19, 2018 at 5 pm.
A Public Hearing on a bond for water system updates in the amount of $500,000 will be held downstairs at the Madison Town Hall at 7 pm on Friday, January 19, 2018.
Public Hearings on the Budget will be downstairs at the Madison Town Hall at 7 pm on Friday, January 19, 2018 and Friday, January 26, 2018 (if needed).

If you will need an absentee ballot for the VDOE February elections, please submit the completed and signed form to the District office. Upon receipt of the completed request form, an absentee ballot will be sent and/or available for pick up at the District office.

Anyone wishing to file for office may file with the Clerk between January 11th and January 20th.

Final date for submission of petitioned articles is January 20th.

Public Hearings on the Budget will be held downstairs at the Madison Town Hall at 7:00 p.m. on January 20th and January 27th (if needed).

The Annual Meeting will be held on Saturday, February 25th at the Madison Elementary School.
